Ageing Well
This programme is designed for people over the age of 60, to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
For £52 per year (for Barking and Dagenham residents), you can access a range of social and active sessions across the borough in leisure centres and Active Age Centres such as:
- Barking Learning Centre
- Chadwell Heath Community Centre
- May and Bakers Sports Club
- Park Centre
- Valence Library
- Wantz Community Centre
Sessions include zumba gold, bingo, line dancing, tai chi and arts and crafts.
Sessions run seven days a week at a variety of times.

Who can attend?
Anyone over the age of 60 (ID will be required).
How much is membership?
If you live in Barking and Dagenham the annual cost is £52.
If you live outside Barking and Dagenham you can only access the sessions in the Ageing Well centres (not the leisure centres), and the cost is £104 per year.
